Stopped by the painting workshop and decided to sketch the model. Felt good to sit down and draw! However now that I look at it I don't like the pillow. Perhaps I'll go back take it out when I have time..

Costumed Characters

A former instructor of mine teaches a costumed figure drawing class in which they draw the model and abstract the form into a character design. Or something like that. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take the class. However, I've had the chance to overlook student's work and offer some design critique. These drawings started off as critique drawings on tracing paper and I decided to clean them up a bit just for a bit o' fun.
